Pregnant or false positive

I took a pregnancy test at 6 am this morning and it looked negative. Sometime around 11 my husband saw it in the trash and it was positive...am I pregnant?

I'm going through the samething.. I took a test but didnt wait till it was finished cause I just knew in my head it was going to be negative so later that day something told me to go look at it and there was a positive sign. Both lines were a lil light but one just a lil darker than the other... my period is due today and I'm going to wait and see if that comes on or not to know my answer.. I hope I am cause I've been praying for this for years...

I agree, if you leave them too long you can sometimes see the evaporation line. If you took the test at 6am with first morning urine then the result you got then was the right one I'd say but maybe your testing too early I'd wait a couple says and retest maybe with one that's more specific. I'd consider it an evap line and take another test
