Progesterone high-what does it mean?

Hi ladies.  Last week I had my 4th IUI.  I don't think I ovulated until the day after the IUI.  On the day of my IUI my RE tested my blood for my progesterone levels just to get a jumping off point for this cycle.  The level last Tuesday was 2.95-so obviously pre-ovulation.  I went back in yesterday for my CD21 progesterone level and it came back at 53!  That seems high to me.  Does it seem high to you?  Can that mean that the IUI worked or is it just to let me know that I did ovulate?  Will that high a number help with implantation?  I really hope it means something good.  Any ideas?  Thanks!

That does sound high... I think this is a really GREAT sign.. I think post o they like to see at least a 9 or 11 (just going off of memory)..  When you are pg your body produces more progesterone.. I don't know how soon tho.. this is looking really good :)

I'm so excited!!

Thanks so much for your comments.  April-I LOVE your answer!!!  I will go with that.  I am only 6dpo now, so WAY too early to test, but I will definitely go with your result too.  Thanks!!
