How is everyone? Still sleeping from the Turkey overdoses?

Well, we are starting yet another ivf cycle (#6, but who's counting!)
Started Lupron November 26th.
Looking at retrieval about December 11th or so..... whole new protocol this round.

Anyone do the 'black Friday' marathon shopping? This chicka stayed in her nice warm bed! We have had about 30 inches of snow since Turkey day, and about 18 since yesterday. We have been mad shoveling fools!
Anyone want some snow? Makes great snow-balls ..... it is the heavy wet kind - the kind that breaks your back as you shovel.....

I do not think I can handle it. I am a true Floridian, born and raised. I wouldn't last long at all. I would like to experience it though, just not for too long .

Good Morning, All! I hope it's still okay to post with you girls! I've been offline for a few weeks due to remodeling my home office, but I am back (with a vengeance ;) and LOVING my new digs!!)

After the miscarriage two cycles ago, I had a 'pseudo-fight' with my doc's office!  I always have the lab fax me my blood results in addition to sending them to the doctor.  (I have my acupuncturist look at them and I like to see actual numbers, etc.) Anyway, the office emailed me and said that they would no longer fax me my bloodwork orders (I get prog., estro., and TSH tested every month!) since the lab keeps sending me the results!!!

I went ballistic and said that the lab was sending them to me because I had submitted an 'authorization to release' form and that they would continue to do so as long as I requested my information! I was so mad - why would they care if I am getting my own results? What are they trying to keep from me??  So, the cowards that they are never replied to my email - never faxed the orders (if they tried, my fax was offline, too) and they never called to follow up with me! So, I didn't get b/w done for this last cycle, so I really have no idea what to expect, BUT....

I am 16DPO today - very sore bbs - heartburn (a bit of nausea, but that could be anxiety, too) - temps were still high, VERY HIGH in the 98's - (very unusual - they start to drop the day or two before AF shows), so I am thinking that there might be a chance for me this month!

If they are still high tomorrow, I'll test! I just HATE seeing a negative result, so I really want to be sure that there is a possibility for me! (My LPs' have been anywhere from 14 to 17 days in the last year)

I hope everyone is well and I look forward to reading the updates on everyone! Tis the season :)

As for the snow, I am with Faith on that.  It was 75 degrees here over Thanksgiving and sunny.  I don't think I can handle snow any more, just too spoiled by TX weather.  We had a cold front though and temps dropped to 60's which is sooo cold for us!

I think I had a sign that everything is going to be moving in the right direction for all of us...I had to go in for B/W and U/S this morning...while driving, I lloked at the license plate of the car in front of me...I AM NOT LYING it said..."AGP PAR T"...I almost hit the poor little car...LOL...So far everythign looked good and I will probaby be transferring in about two weeks!! Yippee!! Sam and I are cycle buddies again!!!

Hi Everyone - thanks for all the support! I really appreciate it!!

So, this morning I am 17DPO (my longest LP in the last year was 17), my temps were still high so I tested - BFN!

I don't get it - my temps ALWAYS start to drop the day or two before AF is due! The last few months, I've used the Estradiol patch from Peak+3 to Peak+12 and when I remove it, my bbs stop being sore in the next day or two and for the last few months, AF came after 14-15 days!!

This month my bbs got MORE swollen and tender! I am nauseated at different times throughout the day. I am constipated (which I am always the opposite before AF shows). I have heartburn. I have bloody noses. I am having some cramping, but it goes away (menstrual are typically constant and they feel a bit different than these do). Last night, I was CONVINCED that there was NO way it couldn't be positive this morning!

I know that the only thing that I can do is wait (which I am SOOOOOOO not good at!! I keep promising God that my lack of patience is just a character flaw and not a lack of faith in Him!!), but does anyone have any thoughts about this? BTW, I used the Target brand of e.p.t, if that makes a difference!!

No I have not finished my papers but I am chipping away at them, I have 2 1/2 done out of the five. So I am halfway there.

Not alot of snow here at all...we get some then it rains and goes away...that is the reason for this cold I think...all the damp chilly weather.

Sam-I posted a 26 week belly pic last week, go take a look!

Helen-I agree, we need to see that belly of yours, I'd like to know what to look forward to ^_^

T-I totally would have followed that person and stolen a plate from their car....I am such a hooligan! How goes the shots?

sorry about the papers.  If it makes you feel any better, I have to grade about 100 papers this week.  Ugh!!  Looking forward to the end of semester though.

Since I started my gestational diabetes diet I lost weight and have not grown much bigger since my last picture.  I am struggling to get back to where I was before I started this terrible diet.  I'll try to post an updated picture perhaps next week if I look a little plumper.

Hey Ladies...

Helen: I've been using the store "stick-type" opk's, but after I got the Clear Plan Monitor from a very AWESOME Lady, I'm now using it. It is so on point & now I am more then CLEAR when my exact Ov Day is. It's so cool. ;o)  One of the really important things I've learned from using it is that my Luteal Phase is super short. I ov'd on cd18, yet AF comes down around CD--26/27...going to see doc aboout this. Happy Paper Grading...I think. ;o)

Lisa: I'm so Sorry about that BFN...maybe a little while longer & you can check again...I'm sorry I really don't have any answers...it's always hard for us...no matter. I've gotten to the point I don't even check... I just wait to see if AF comes because it is always so devastating to me.

Kele: Yes...I'm really having to push myself with the exercise due to this beautiful time of the year. ;o) Going to check out how big Phin has gotten. "Cheers" ;o)

We have gone from snowy weather to just freakin COLD!!! It was 2 BELOW this am.... the expected high today is 14!  (flannel jammie weather --- poor hubby)

Faith - can I come live with you ?!

Helen - ask my dh.... he will tell you..... don't trust anything that bleeds for more than 5 days and doesn't die! Between the bcp and the lupron, my cycle has been light or spotting, but so looooooooooong! Going on day 11 (again poor hubby!)
I lost your address, would you send it to me again, and I will mail you some copies of great recipes for diabetics.... :))  

T - I'm with Kele... you should have swiped the plate! hee hee :))

Me???? Well, I am on cd 21. I am using the Clearblue Easy Fertility Monitor and it indicated I ovulated on cd 18/cd19 (The monitor read PEAK for those days).
This month and last month it appears as if I ovulated 6 days later that I normally do (which is 14 days after af).
Not sure of the reasoning for the change but I will ask my OBGYN on Thursday. I have a 9:15am annual appt.

Well, I have to run but will check in again later. I am so glad we are active on the boards again......Nite yall !

Faith-n  ---- hmmm....45 degrees, Alaskans wear shorts, anything above 60, we go swimming :-))   42 is flip flop weather!!!

Helen - I blame you! My lupron period is no longer 'light'!  AF came full force yesterday evening, cramps and all! You had me thinking and hoping it was gonna be light the whooooole time.... oh well, that's my luck....

Kele - I don't miss college days and writing papers! I graduated in 2006 with a BS in Psy and minor in Gerontology (old people) .... have bunches of papers on those subjects!

Hoping - sorry so blue.... I can send you some Happy White Fluffy snow! Lots and lots of happiness.... so much it sticks to my dogs' noses, feet, and butts when they come in! Want some of my 'happiness'? Just a little?

Savanha - I have another excercise for you! Jumping up and down really fast! I had to pry myself off the garage ceiling this morning.... our winter mice (shrews) are back in the garage! Scared the daylights out of me this morning!!! Had my heart pacing and everything.... better than a treadmill!  

afm.... hanging on..... AF kicking my butt.... actually had a craving for McDonald's today (yes I was bad!) and now I feel yuck.....

I'm gonna be getting me some sticky mouse traps after work! Those 4 legged rodents won't be living much longer!

Here's a funny for ya.... normally our husky (aka Devil dog I call her) is locked in her kennel in the garage when we are not home. Well.... dh went home for lunch today, proceeded to open the garage door, and low and behold, she was not in her kennel and the door was open...???? Hmmm.... a houdini maybe? I think not - he forgot to lock the door to her kennel. Here's the funny part..... she did not destroy anything in the garage! We are talking probably 50 prs of shoes in the garage, and 4 shelves of food and canned goods (including the spicy salmon!)
Devil dog (aka Delta) was kept busy all morning mouse hunting! I hope she gave them all heart attacks!
