It is an infection that runs through your body through blood.  It is very important to be treated right away!  It is caused by an infection from an insect bite, an open wound or often in hospitals where they don't properly sterilize their tools and are used on a patient.  This can be fatal so be sure to treat it ASAP!

Staph can spread serious throughout your body and even cause death. It needs to be treated asap. Yes, it can cause low count and sterility. No it is not an std. But, it is VERY serious and needs immediate medical attention. My ex nearly died from staph in his knee that he contracted in the hospital. Please do not let it go unchecked.
