I travel 2 1/2 hrs to get home from our andrology/ivf lab so lying in the car probably wouldn't hurt you but I'd ask your RE. Best wishes for a great month for you.
I am so happy your embie thawed. YEAH!!!!!!! Have a good trip. I am going to be thinking about you and praying for us!! I am flying tomorrow which is not recommended, but my Dr said is okay, if it was going to stick it would have already.
After my transfer, we drove home immediately( 2 hours drive). Then rested in my bed. Good luck to you.
Just wanted to wish you luck. I hope FET works for you. Happy Thanksgiving!
Good for you!!!
happy thanksgivind and SSBD,
Miky
Thank you ladies!!! My RE said rest the rest of the day (yesterday) and then regular activity when I feel comfortable... So, I am going home... Yeah!!!
I agree with the others.Do what the Dr said.
My Dr wants only half a day rest BUT everyone is different!
I REALLY hope this FET will work for you!
SSBD and Happy Thanksgiving,
Miky
I agree with Tanker Chic. Whatever the Dr. ordered, you should follow. Thanksgiving we can celebrate any day. don't have to wait exact date to celebrate. We are thankful each day why can't we celebrate each day of ourlives.
Good luck and take care
Happy Holiday
This is a tough one and I think one that is a very personal decision. I've gone on and on in various posts about this but at the risk of sounding repetitive, I'll say it again. There are Dr's who insist that more than 1 day's bed rest is pointless as it has no effect on the eventual outcome and there are those who insist that you have to stay in bed for 2 weeks! At the end of the day, it's clear that no one really KNOWS. So, you have to do whatever you think is right for you.
I had the same problem because I live in Syria and my dr's in Lebanon!! I stayed at a friend's in Beirut for 3 days and barely left my bed. I did't want to risk the drive back any sooner because the road between Beirut and Damascus is not exactly your typical north american highway... very twisty and turny and bumpy!!! If the road home is a good one and you can put the seat right back, I would think it's really not so different from being in bed. But again, you have to do what's right for you.
The way I decide what's right for me in any situation is to ask myself what the worst outcome could be then I ask myself, "If I make this decision, and the worst outcome comes about, will I blame myself or will I still be ok with the decision I made?"
Works every the time.
I don't know, I mean, I think I would put the seat back and get home to get in my own bed.
ummmm.. however long the dr told you to stay in bed, I think you should stay in bed. If it means missing Thanks Giving.. oh well. there will be many more to come.. And the traffice will probably be worse the day before thanks giving than it will be thanks giving..
Take care and good luck.. you must be very excited!!
