Showing so early?

Quick question for those of you who have gotten the BFP and are around 7 weeks or so along.  This is my second child and I am already showing!  I can't believe it.  My jeans won't zip and my shirts look like hell...excuse me, but they do!  Is anyone else that is preg. showing or have shown this early?  It feels too early to buy maternity clothes.  Last pregnancy I was on bed rest almost the entire time so I only had one pair of maternity streach pants and 2 shirts.  And since I carried my son only to 30 weeks I was never that big and the last mo was in the hospital so I was just in a hospital gown.  This clothes thing is new to me.  Help!

are you bloated? that is a early symptom with pregnancy.  it is very common to show earlier with the second pregnancy. i found at by 8/9 weeks i was using a rubber band to hold my pants together cuz i didn't want to buy maternity clothes that early. and what the heck..you can look pregnant..cuz you are!!!

Thanks for the comments.  Last night it showed that the posting couldn't go through, sorrry for so many posts!  I just don't want to buy materity clothes yet...people will think that I am crazy and in some stuff I could look around 4-5 months along....crazy I know. but my stomach is almost out to my boobs!  And before I was a size 10, now I am definately a size 12 or 12plus!!! yuck!@

I know how you feel because I am now pregnant and about 3 pairs of my pants aren't fitting.  I'm not as far along as you, but I think it's because I've been so bloated.  I did my first IVF cycle and they told me all the meds will make me bloated.  I don't really want to buy maternity clothes yet either.

My 2nd pregnacy I m/c at 9 weeks and I looked like I was 5 or 6 months. The way i look at it is who cares how far along you are wear the maternity clothes PROUDLY and if everyone thinks your crazy---oh well we deserve to show off what it took us so long to do :) I love the maternity clothes now and loved shoppiong for them. Congrats on the pregnacy and have a healthy 9 months!!

I think anytime the uterus has been stretched out with previous pregnancies, it doesn't take as long for a woamn to start showing. My co-worker was really showing at 4 months with her third child versus her first pregnancy she probably really did not look pregnant until 4-5 months.

I am only 5/6 weeks and very bloated.  Well, I assume its just bloating.  This is my second pregnancy too and I did pick up a bit of weight while ttc.  I'm sure everything is fine on your end and I'm actually looking forward to buying maternity clothes and looking pregnant, instead of just looking overweight.  GOOD LUCK!!

2 words, Lulu lemon....pants are magic, no one will know you're bloated...you'll just look trendy, sexy and fit!  I showed early with my 1st, and fit in reg clothes until 6 mos with my 2nd...everyone is different.....embrace that beautiful bloated tummy!!  All the best.
