I hope I have the right forum. Ok about 2 weeks ago I was taking Ortho Novum consistently but the side effects were too great for me to deal with.  See, all last year I was on the shot, and did not get my period again until 6/2007.  I got the shot about 10/06.  My gyno recommended Ortho to get my period back on track, instead it gave me headaches and 2 periods a month. 2 weeks ago I stopped taking ortho and used condoms. I got my period Monday last week and it ended about Thursday or Friday. That Friday I went to the gyno and she said she still saw a little bit of period residue, so I had just ended it.
OK..here's the scary part-
Saturday night I had sex with my neighbor. We used a condom. I wasn't going to start my new bcontrol till Sunday and figured a condom would be sufficient. During the act of sex we used the condom, then all of a sudden the condom slipped off. His penis was in me for a very short moment without the condom being that we both felt it slip off. Maybe 1 to 3 thrusts until I jumped up like "wheres the condom". We both freaked out and looked all over the room and couldn't find it. So, today, Tuesday morning, I urinated and felt something slither out of me. YES. NOW I AM FREAKED OUT. that condom was not spermicidal. How at risk am I? I have kids, I cannot bring another into this world right now, I need to raise the ones I've got. This guy pre ejaculated a lot as well. From what I've been told, pre ejaculate cannot live in the condom, but still I'm freaking out. I thought I was being safe, someone help me please.

Well there goes that option. It's been 12 months for me.

yeah i woudnt worry about it...if ur best conception date is 10/8 and you had sex sunday morning which was 9/30 and the condom was in for 4 days naw you shodunt worry about anything i dont think so even dough they say sperm can live anywhere from 3-5 days your still far from the 8th today is only the 3rd...and plus you started your birth control...im pretty sure you are ok..i wodunt freak over it but just next time be careful even with birth control your never really safe..ive seen cases who a women got preg. being on birth control always always use a condom. My periods were very goowy, dark brown and irregular between the months of June and August. Like I said I was getting 2, sometimes 3 a month because of the b control and the irregularities the shot caused. They were dark brown asn lasted about 3 days each time. On 9/23 tho, I had a very regular period with cramping, dark blood and typical "chunks". It looked like one of my typical, healthy periods I used to have before the shot. That scares me because I have no idea how fertile I am.  I can only hope that because of the shot, no ejaculate finish and the timing in my cycle, I have a good chance to not be pregnant.

We had sex at about 4 am Sunday morning.
I started my bcontrol on Sunday thinking everything was ok, so now im even further worried that i may be doing harm to something. i checked a fertility chart, it said im best for conception 10/8. not like 1/8 is that far away.
if is any help, he never finished or fully ejaculated, but there was a lot of pre ***.

I made a mistake when I said the condom fell out "tuesday morning", because it fell out 5 min ago. I meant to type "Wednesday morning". It's been lost in me for 3 days.
