It is nice to hear these success stories. I am pretty sure my 4th IUI failed. I would be totally shocked if my test is + on Friday. I am trying to decide if I want to continue this journey and go for one last shot with IVF. Congrats to those who got their bfps!
Wow both your chances for IVF was 60-65% thats so good mine was 50% and am younger than you guys. Also we are unexplained but I have arthritis, hypothyroidism and had fibroid myomectomy surgery more than an year ago. I dont know if it was cuz of my health issues or the success % depends on the clinic. Anyhu just wanted to mention this :-) congrats to u guys again
thanks :)
my clinic only recommended 24 hours bedrest-which i did.
then no strenuous activity for 3-5 days, which i also followed.
i figured i would follow everything they recommended so if it didn't work i wouldn't be doing the "what ifs" game.
Hi I had 6 failed IUI due to overstimulation even on a dose as low as 25iu Folistim .My problem was I had no periods. 1st IVF got pregnant with my son who is now 18 months. I conceived this pregnancy naturally and am 6 months with a girl.
Congrats! I'll be getting the results of my IVF (after 4 failed IUIs) next Monday, and I was given a 62% success rate at my clinic (age 30). Hope to be joining you soon, fingers crossed!
congrats! How exciting for you! Any tips you can give me for the IVF? Did you do bedrest for 3 days after as well?
I am 38 and have unexplained secondary infertility. I have had a successful pregnancy where i conceived naturally (very easily) but for some reason I can not get pregnant again. I thought for sure those IUI's would work. I'm really hoping this IVF works.
my IUIs failed (with injectibles) but my first IVF worked and i am almost 6 weeks pregnant.
we have mod male factor and unexplained on my end
they told me 60-65% success at my age (35) and hormone levels, etc
good luck!
