Whether you have day 3 or 5 transfer depends on how many embryos you have and on the quality of the embryos.  If you have lots of good looking embryos on day 3, your dr would go for day 5 transfer in order to select the best looking 2.  If you have only 2-3 good looking embryos on day 3 you will probably have a day 3 transfer.
Good luck to you!

Thanks for your input. I had my consultation today and I asked when my transfer would take place and they said it could either be day 3 or 5  So I was curious.

Ideally it would be best to transfer at day 5 but we do not have a choice, it's up to the development of embroys quality, then the doc will decide either day 3 or day 5.

I have never had this done but from I have read Day 5 transfer is better.
