We are all Women of Strength!

A Strong Woman VS. A Woman Of Strength

A strong woman works out everyday to keep her body in shape…
But a woman of strength builds relationships to keep her soul in shape.

A strong woman isn't afraid of anything…
But a woman of strength shows courage in the midst of fear.

A strong woman won't let anyone get the better of her…
But a woman of strength gives the best of herself to everyone.

A strong woman makes mistakes and avoids the same in the future…
A woman of strength realiizes life's mistakes can also be unexpected blessings and capitalizes on them.

A strong woman wears a look of confidence on her face…
But a woman of strength wears grace.

A strong woman has faith that she is strong enough for the journey…
But a woman of strength has faith that it is in the journey that she will become strong.

mommyin09 - Another wonderful way to start a thread!

Just got home from CD 12 U/S.  Lining was very thin still.  She said long way to go before O.

Bad' side... seem to have persistant cyst?!?! We saw something on that side CD 12 last cycle, CD 2 this cycle and then again today.  The size has varied.  We are going to continue to watch.  What do they normally do for persistant cysts?  And, had one other around 12.

'Good' side... nothing. Hard time finding anything.

We are going to try a trigger this cycle.  We have to go in Wednesday, CD 15, for another U/S.  She told us to be busy the next few days to be sure.  I normally O around CD 21-23 without meds.  With 50mg of clomid last cycle, I O'd CD 20.  What should I expect this cycle with 100mg? Even earlier? How does the trigger work?

rachjas:  I dont know if it will make you O earlier... When they uped my dose I didnt O earlier.  I didnt even O earlier when I took the clomid on earlier days.  Then again everyone is different!

Mommyin09: Im sorry for your negative test.  I do like the poem!

My mom took me and the kids to get us a Christmas tree yesterday.  I have never seen kids so excited about a tree.  I had to keep telling William to calm down.  I think this is the first time that they will have a real Christmas with Santa and everything.  It should be so much fun Christmas morning!  I took some pics of them dressed up in front of the tree.  Im going to try and put them up!

Hope everyone had/has a great weekend!  SSBD to all!

Hi.  I'm glad you all like the new thread :)

jmh2005:  I'll update your cd tomorrow.  I guess I lost track, sorry!  Good luck with your follie check on Fri :)

Jessie:  Thanks! Your pics are cute.

Rachjas:  I'm sorry your good side isn't cooperating!  I've never had a trigger shot or cysts, so I can't help there.  I didn't notice any big change in when I O'd from 50mg to 100mg.  Are you using opks?  Good luck!

I love the new thread. Well tomorrow is my 2nd Beta and im very nervous its probably the most important one besides seeing a beautiful heartbeat. Im just praying my beta has doubled.... Also it is soooo weird that im showing sooo quick I had a tummy tuck last year and where very flat just noticed today that my stomach is  popping out. Im only 5 weeks could I be carrying multiples? Im really showing my belly is  really popping out from right under my bbs to my bikini line.  For my older kids I didnt show until 4 months pregnant they where singletons.  Any imputs???  Multiples??? progesterone????

Yes, I use a monitor and OPKs.  I am not sure if I will get the trigger Wed.  I guess it depends if I am ready. I read online tonight that I should O within 40 hours of getting one? I am not real sure.  This way we can time BD.  I guess DH and I will be real busy.  RE told us to stay busy the next few days just in case.  But, I doubt I will O because like I said I normally O around CD 20.  RE says I am getting surges, but not a ton at one time.  It's hard to desribe.  Some months I never get a + OPK or peak on the monitor ... my temps gradually rise... by getting the HCG it will be more apparent I guess?!?!

Candie:  I'm so sorry about AF!  :(  Looks like we're in the same boat... I'm cd1 today.

rachjas:  If you don't normally O on your own, that's probably why you're doing the trigger shot even though you're not doing iui or ivf.  That's exciting!  So, you should O by the end of the week.  Yes, I agree with your RE, keep busy ;-)

Guesito:  You definitely have the possibility of multiples, having done ivf!  Good luck with your beta & how exciting that you're already showing!  So much for tummy tucks ;-)

leighanne:  Feel better! :)

So, as I wrote to Candie, AF showed today.  I'll call my doc in the morning & most likely go in for an u/s on Tues.  Keyan gave me a great idea, to try iui without the meds since it's too risky for me to carry multiples.  I can't think of any reason why that wouldn't work, so I'll ask my doc about it on Tuesday.  Thanks, Keyan.  I'm feeling positive again ;-)

Have a great night, ladies!

I will let you know what happens but if I get a picture of the sonogram, I probably wont get to put it up until tomorrow since our scanner at the house is not working right.

Mommyin09 and Candie: I am sorry AF show! she just doesn't get it....don't show for the next 9month!!! ...on the other hand, now you guys are in a new cycle, that will hopefully bring you both a great christmas present!

Leighanne: Hope you are feeling better.

Rachajas: can't help you...but keep up the BD!

Guesito: yes it can be multiples....a tummy tuck last year!!?!!  and now pregnant! ;o)

Jmh2005: Good luck on Friday!

Jessie: Sounds like you and the kids will have a great time this christmas!

As of me...well I am on cd20 and don't know if I O or if I will O this cycle...weird...I hear you can have annovulatory cycles twice a year, is this right?...will I get AF? I never miss AF, never.

I am just waiting for af to show.  I know the progesterone delays it a little.  I only have one more day of progesterone and I am done.  At least my cramping was not as bad and did nto last as long as my other failed cycles.  I am not going to waste my hpt because I just know I am not pregnant and I don't want to see another "not pregnant."  I don't even want to go in for my blood test on Wednesday.  I just do not feel pregnant at all and just know af is coming.  We are probably going to take a few months off...at least one.  I probably have cysts anyway and we want to take a trip to Costa Rica to see my husband's family and then we will start again aggressively until it works!

Candie- I'm so sorry af showed up:(  That really stinks.  Are you going into another cycle or taking some time off?

Good morning!

Mommyin09- First off, LOVE the new thread title and poem! That's amazing! :) Second, I'm so sorry af showed! I know you were expecting it, but at least now you can talk to your doc about doing iui w/o meds! I love that idea!!! What does your dh think about it? I know he was a little weary of it. I hope he's changed his mind though. I'm excited because the lady I bought my meds from is dropping them off here at work in an hour. It has to be refrigerated, so hopefully no one will go snooping! That's some expensive medicine! :)

Candie- I'm so sorry af showed for you too! :(  I hope you're feeling better about it, and are looking forward to your next cycle! There's still time for you and Mommyin09 to get that BFP by Christmas!!!

Ok, so I wrote this message to you all like 2 hours ago, and unexpectadly my BOSS walked in! Yikes!! I had to minimize it for that long! :) Then the lady with my meds showed up, and we were talking for like 30 minutes. She was really sweet! Anyway, I hope everyone is doing ok! Good luck and let's get some more BFP's by Christmas!!!

Yes so much for my Tummy Tuck LOL... I know it was weird last year we didn't even think about concieving.  It just hit us in june of this year. If you only knew how painful those tummy tucks are. Oh well.. Next time I will have the baby and then the tummy tuck. My husband was totally against it I had no tummy but I  wanted to be flatter....LOL

Went to my RE this morning.. Awaiting a call with the 2nd beta numbers.... Im sooo nervous!!!!

Gueito- Good luck! I hope you get great numbers!!! :)

Keyan- When I'm not on meds, I ovulate around CD 23, so you still have a chance to ovulate this cycle! Do you watch your temps? If so, you'll see a clear temp shift and know when you ovulate. Mommyin09 is right, I had an anovulatory cycle the cycle before last, and af was delayed. I ended up having a 50 day cycle! I had to take provera to bring on a period. Hopefully that's not your case, and you still ovulate. I'm sure you will, everyone and every cycle is different so hang in there! :) Keep taking those opk's!

ShySana- Welcome! Good luck at your doc's appointment! I'm sure you're getting ready to ovulate, it's still early in the game! I ovulated around CD 16 or 18 on Clomid. But, like I told Keyan, everyone and every cycle is different, so just hang in there and keep using those opk's!

...not really....except most was left-overs from the weekend. First I had a bowl of Mini Wheats, then 1 1/2hrs later leftover Cesar salad with chicken, now I'm wolfing down some Prime Rib. (Driving the dogs nutso).   ...I just gotta say no after this!!  I'm only CD21 6DPT ~ is this normal?  I did see a little spotting yesterday, and my nipples are a bit sore.  Guess it is a good sign..??..!!!

Let us know what the betas are ~ I hate the wait..!!
