apprently my prenatal isnt the greatest!! :(
Prenexa is considered middle to lower quality prental. NICE since the DAMN clinic prescribed it to me!!!!!!! however i did find the following Top Rated Prenatal Vitamins
After reviewing a large number of prenatal vitamins, I have found a couple I would consider to be by far the best prenatal vitamins. Both of these prenatal vitamins contain a mix of ingredients that not only help with your babies development but also helps the mother with the necessary nutrients and minerals needed to keep her healthy. These prenatal vitamins also have some of the best reviews I have found from consumers and professionals.

Trimedisyn is a product that is at the top of my list for prenatal vitamins and is the prenatal vitamin I had my wife use during her pregnancy. Trimedisyn contains the right proportions of ingredients needed to give you and your baby the minerals and vitamins necessary for a healthy pregnancy. No corners were cut when making this product. Trimedisyn contains a number of very effective ingredients that have been clinically proven to help the mother and baby during pregnancy. WOW!! You have a lot of choices and decisions on prenatals! I am not sure but mine are all just on a shelf and made by the same brands as the all the other vitamins. My RE said to just take folic acid 1mg, she said if I feel I have to take a vitamin make sure it has at least 1mg of folic acid.... But it is not necessary.

I am in process of switching now.  I was taking CitraNatal but didn't like it because the after taste of DHA (fishy)  I asked RE to switch & they gave me samples of 5 different kinds.
Here is the one I Picked..... Select OB + DHA.  The vitamins can be chewed or swallowed (Berry flavor) The DHA gelcap is orange flavor so no after taste.

Folic acid is really only necessary during the first few weeks after conception, before most women know they are pregnant, so don't base your decision on folic acid content alone. Ingredients you should be looking for are:
DHA
Choline
CoQ10
Probiotics
Biotin
Calcium
Iron
Magnesium

I use a prenatal vitamin that is over the counter and there are name brands and store brands. Most prenatal vitamins will have the exact same amount of all the vitamins that a pregnant women needs. The vitamin needs to have 800mg of folic acid. I choose over the counter because I’ve been ttcing for some time and it all gets expensive from vitamins, opk tests, and hpt tests. Just make sure you are getting the correct vitamins that the dr. orders.

I think the one I was on was Prenate DHA (I hope I remember that correctly). It was pretty expensive, though, even with insurance. It was in the highest co-pay category, and I only "saved" something like a dollar or two by using insurance. Hopefully, your insurance is a bit better than mine! :-)

In your research, did you run across one named PreferaOB+DHA?   Just curious : )

My doctor said to make sure there is at least 800mg folic acid and the calcium should not be in calcium carbonate form. I use a natural plant based also.
