What are my chances? Please look at my chart...

This is my first month on clomid 50 mg CD3-7.  It is also my first month charting BBT to try to determine ovulation.

I had a CD 14 ultrasound which showed a 22mm follicle and a slightly smaller follicle on my right ovary.  The ultrasound tech said she couldnt tell if I had O'd yet, but based on my temps I didnt think I had (I had not had a temp spike).

I went in the next day, CD 15, and had a trigger shot.

I have a chart on fertilityfriend.  I'll post the link below.  You'll see on CD 15 I had a huge drop in temps, but I've read that some women do on the day they O.  My temp has gone up in the 2 days since then.

I'd appreciate any advice any of you have on my chances!  DH and I have had sex on CD 7, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16 (so far!).  We're really trying to catch that egg!

It's certainly possible. I know that many watch the line get lighter or darker, too. April's started out faint and got steadily darker. It can be a fun way to occupy your time either way :) The cheap ones don't feel like you're throwing away so much $$$

Do you think that CD 25 would be too soon to test?  That would be the 10th day after the trigger...

I may just go get some $tree tests and test until then to see when the HCG leaves my system.

Is it possible for the HCG to leave your system, but for you to be pregnant and still get a positive home test?  Meaning, there would never be a negative--the HCG injection would just run into the natural hcg produced by a pregnancy?

It usually takes about 10days for the trigger to get out of your system. You can always pick up a couple $tree tests to see when it is negative. Then, if you get a bfp after that, you will know it is real and not left over trigger.

I agree with the 15th as being o day. I usually do get the telltale drop the day b4 o, too. I bet you get the crosshairs tomorrow. Your dates sound very promising!

I forgot to mention that the trigger shot that I had was 10,000 units.

How long will it take for this to get out of my system so that I can test and get an accurate result?  I was hoping to test next Friday--it will only be cycle day 25, but I'm going out of town and sort of wanted to know before I went.  Is that too soon?

I also think you ovulated on the CD15 and if your temp stay high - then definately overwrite you chart and make CD15 your ovulation date. Good Luck.

I would say that you O'd on CD15 but you won't know for sure till you have at least 3 high temps.  So wait until tomorrow's temp to confirm.  One point though, I don't know about trigger shots and their effects, so hopefully someone else will know.

Good luck! And keep BDing to be sure!!
