What do I do with my extra meds????

Hey all.  Haven't written on here for some time.  I had a failed IVF cycle in June, and my second retrieval is tomorrow.  I have two 900 IU follistim cartridges and a sealed box of Leuprolide (Lupron) left over.  What have you all done with your extra meds??  They are so expensive, and I don't want to throw them away.  Wish me luck all.  Will keep you posted

hey Chaser!
I did save my meds until the result of the cycle to see if I could reuse it on a new one (unfortunately I will go through fresh IVF#4 in September-and I hope it will be the last one!).
BUT since I really hope this is the ONE for you ,check with the pharmacy if they take the meds back.Or you can donate your meds to somebody who does not have insurance.
Good luck tomorrow!!!

Like the above post, I saved mine for the next cycle, until I got my BFP.  After that, my RE's office was happy to take them and donate them to those without insurance or who couldn't afford meds.
Good luck, hope you get to donate yours!

I sent my leftover meds to a friend.  There are plenty of people who struggle to pay for infertility meds and I was happy to help even a little bit.
