Will I be able to conceive again?

I had a tubiligation 9 years ago. Before I had this procedure done my husband got a vasectomy. We have 5 children and lately I have been feeling that I would like another child. Is there any possible way, that I would be able to conceive again? I am 38 now and we would like another child. We do realise that when my procedure was performed that it was non reversible and that my husband's vasectomy is reversible. Any advice that you would have on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thanking you,
Michelle Mac Kenzie

Thank you for your encouragement Heather. I had an appointment with my doctor this morning and things aren't looking too good! While both of our procedures can be reversed, seemingly mine is easier accomplished than his.  Anyway, the financial option is out (IVF) as the funds won't allow it. We'll have a discussion later and see what route to take. Thanks again for replaying and offering advice, I really appreciate it.

That certainly makes things more complicated...but you could still do IVF. Maybe set up an appointment with an RE (Reproductive Endocrinologist) for a consultation. He/she should be able to give you more information on this and also let you know what your chances are. Best of luck!
