Xray question

I had to go to my reg doc due to illness on Tuesday and they had to take a chest xray and everyone kept asking if i was pregnant and i said no, on Tuesday i was on cd 18 and my cycles have been anywhere from 28-34 day cycles since 2nd d&c in july. My question is if I am pregnant this cycle will that xray matter at cd18,also I am not sure when I ovulated maybe cd15 or cd16.Thanks

They have been associated with a very small increased risk of cancer, particularly leukemia, for an unborn baby. But the risk is very small.
x-rays are generally safe in pregnancy. If your doctor finds you need x-rays for a medical problem or injury, it's OK to have them. It's better for your baby that you be healthy.
