YIPPIE....I got my first positive ever

Could not beleive it this morning....Let me share my story....
This cycle was my break cycles on med before i went in for my Laproscopy. I had my root canal and must have popped a 100 ibrufens (Mortein, Advil...u name it and i had it)...Did not ovulate until CD 26...BD that very day....since then my temps have been up...last couple of days i have been having cramping....just the same as I get before my periods start...so i was metally prepared for my periods...but my temps did not go down. This morning it shot up almost .5 and peaked to 99.32 (highest ever)....so I decided to take the POST - clearblue and boom withing 2 minutes it was positive...could not beleive it...yelled and call my hubby to the bathroom and started crying......This is my first + ever after 2.5 years of trying. OH MY GOD...THANK YOU and all of you all too thank you for always keeping me in your prayers.
Then i rushed to my specialist office and had them draw my blood to confirm pregnancy.
I dont get my results until tomorrow but am keeping myself positive.
Look at my photos section for the test I took...let me know what u think...and pray for me ...i really want to hear a "BIG POSITIVE" tomorrow.

Just to keep you friends posted...
I went for my first US today. I am 6w4d pregnant. Heard the heartbeat at 122bpm. The baby was 7mm long. I feel blessed

I just wanted to tell you how happy I was when I saw your post. I am so excited to see you finaly got that BFP!!!!! I haven't been around much latley because I needed the break after everything in June, but to come back and see your post was so perfect. Huge Congrats, and don't worry if you don't see the HB right away, I have heard where some people don't see it till 12 weeks.

Thanks for your inputs. I will keep my hopes upto seeing a little bean, then. If I get lucky, the heartbeat too :) But what if the heartbeat does not show up....does it showup later in some cases? I have my fingers crossed.

Hi! once again Congrats!!  My doc once told me that once the numbers were above 1500 you were able to see the little bean...you will be around 6wks, so maybe a heartbeat...I am not sure on that ... I hope for the best!!

I have been called for my US on Aug 11. From what I know I ovulated on 11-July-08. Do u think it is early for an US? what should I expect?

Got my 3rd HCG test results...went up from 693 to 1676 :)
I have been asked to go for my Ob U/S in 1.5 weeks....dont know what to expect in that. But the nurse said I am doing just fine.

Wow!  I just saw your post too!  CONGRATULATIONS!!!  You must be so happy!  Good luck and keep us posted on how you're doing! :)  This gives us all who are ttc for a while lots of hope...

candie - yep..now that i ook back I think a break sometimes is necessary. If nothing, it helps take off the mental stress we always are in constantly. Good luck and lots SSBD

babybaw4 - wow...looks like we have similar timings and will have the delivery together too...maybe we need to stay connected. I have no symptoms myself...except that I am super bloated all the time and at times my lower belly cramps

leighanne143- wow, you might be right...maybe there is some connection between dental work and conceiving. maybe we need to research.

I got my 2nd beta results - 693...sure more than double (was 305 2 days back). Nurse said I am doing good. They do not even have me on progesterone suppositories...dont know if that is a mandate
