bloating after retrieval

I had high levels of estrogene during IVFprocess, finally came down- retrieval 2 days ago-12 eggs, my question is.. Is it normal to be so bloated and uncomfortable after that I can hardly walk.... RE claims this is normal due to fluid. ET is a 5 day transfer- due in 3 days... thank you

I just went through my 2nd fresh cycle IVF and was extremely bloated and it definitely hurt to walk.  I was constipated too which didn't help, from the anesthesia.  It resolved in about 5 days or so.  Not to bad now at all. Best wishes for you! SSBD!

On my first IVF I was EXTREMELY bloated and very uncomfortable. My RE told me it was normal because of the high E2, which resuoted in me coasting for days. My RE stated that I would be bloated for a while and even the more after the ET and if I got pregnant, I would be bloated even the more......well, I started feeling better (which he previously warned would not be a good sign) after the the third day after the ET and indeed the beta confirmed a BFN.
It was NOT a good experience. I can definitely relate to your discomfort. I was miserable sitting, leaning, laying down, etc.

I hope you feel better soon WITH a BFP!!!
