burst cyst ?

Ok- went the doctor today as I had pink bleeding for a week - with tender breasts , a clear mucous discharge
Then two weeks later had brown discharge - it's turned red now (like a normal period)
Negative pregnacy test
Doc says its a burst cyst on my ovary (without an examination)
I'm not happy with his diagnosis ? Anyone have any idea of what it was
I'm thinkin miscarriage as if several pain on my right side

@leelee304 - I'm still unsure - I don't think it was a cyst as if imagine the pain would be unbearable - and Iv read people went to hospital over it
I had pregnancy symptoms before the bleeding happened

Well mine came rapidly. It was a lot of blood and only for one day. They gave me medicine for the pain but my periods  are very regular  so I didn't need an ultrasound. It just happens sometimes

Ask for a second opinion or to run an ultrasound, at least.
