could I be pregnant?

I had my tubes tied 8yrs ago and I usually have really heavy periods I had a light one this month and now am spotting and cramping what could this be.

Thanks for the advice and I had a tubal cauterization but it was maybe 3 weeks after I had my son if that makes a difference.

It could be a number of things. What type of TL did you have? It could just be a cyst which is very common after a tubal ligation. Also you will and may now already have signs of premenopause! That is what it does to your body to have a TL. It stops the natural floww of hormones and blood and can cause all sorts of problems. I had one and just had it reversed. I had a triple burn. Spotting is also a sign of an eptopic and you need to get checked because if you are pegnant it might be in the tube which is 80 percent of having one within 10 years. (An eptopic that is) Or it is just signs of what I was saying. Do a HPT. Best of Luck.
