Hey there;) Well, when my ovarian cyst was "small" @ about 3-4 CM (size of a kumkwat) they saw it instantly in both transvaginal/abdominal US's
My symptoms for a few months before & after we saw it, & it doubled in size, were; BAD yucky long periods w/clots, BAD BAD BAD pain, so BAD to were it caused me to get a fever a couple of times, & sent me to the ER once, & one time I was in too much pain to go to the ER;(
I had very odd pain in my stomach, DURING AF, nowhere near my ovary, this was from the cyst (endometrioma) leaching blood into my abdomen. It HURT very bad, it was a hard type of pain to describe. & I also would get this sorta stabbing pain in my ovary, it literally felt like it was being twisted & pulled (very strange!) & this would last for DAYS!!! it would come when AF would END, until I O'd then it would be fine for about 2+ weeks, then start ALL over again!
So, you "might" have a cyst, but if they couldn't see it w/a vaginal US, I really don't think it can be causing any issues.
Best of luck;)
hmmmm, i don't know either, thanks for your input. I fiqure if it's a cyst the pain should have went away by now. the pain isn't bad but it's definetly there. i fear my dr is going to recommend exploratory surgery. (i had an exploratory lap done in january for LLQ which was similar to this--the diagnosis was pelvic congestion syndrome) Until now i haven't had pain in the RLQ--so maybe the PCS has gotten worse for some reason....
