cramping on day 8&9 followin egg transfer

Hi all,
Im new to the site and i have been doin alot of reading and thought it was about time i posted some worry's of my own. Im on my first round of ivf and today is day 9 after egg transfer, we have been tryin for a little miracle for almost 10 years with no luck the hospital retrieved 18 egg's but only 2 fertilized which at the time was very upsetting but i am now thankful that at least i had 2. I had 2 egg's put back on day 2, 1 egg was a 2 cell an the other was a 3 cell, i had a bit of pain for a couple of days putting it down too the stress and the transfer its self. I did a hpt on day 8 just to see as this 2ww is the worse ever an it was a neg but im still hopefull as i know it is still very early on as i have to do THE PREG TEST on day 17. After doin the hpt on day 8 a couple hrs later i started with crampin and it has been going on for most of the time since, its like my period is on its way so im so hoping this is it. Im on progesterone supp 1 twice a day an was wonderin if the crampin could be to do with them?? Im hoping there not an that it is a good sign (praying to god) Any surpport will be great.
Im sending loads of baby dust to u all and hope there will be a little miracle 4 all of us 1 day xx

Hi all,
I'm also new to the site. I want to say what amazing  and brave group of women we are.  I had 11 eggs on the retrieval  but just 1 embryo went true successfully, they transferred the 1 but on grade C on the 25th Jan and now on my 3th day I have had different symptoms specially at the next day, inflamed belly as I guess normal for the retrieval and diarrhea..., feeling tired and sleepy,  sudden breast pain and peeing .  I'm using progesterone 3 times per day.  I'm wondering what its going to hapend and I'm feeling angry, sad and not optimistic because of my embryo quality but I'm trying to get rid of the stress with some music and studying .  I was reading a lot about the quality of embryos and implantation process so  in some cases this can produce a  bit of bliding and cramps but always its important to confirm this with the doctor....
My preg test is on February 8 at 8 o'clock ...I can't wait...
All the best for all you.xxxx God bless you .I would love to read a good news.

Hi Chrissy
I rang my clinic and they also said to me on Monday that even I was to start a period then I would still need to continue the pessaries and do a test on the weekend.  Fingers crossed for you.

I did a hpt this am and it was -ve!  11 days post transfer.

BabsNYC - this is probably the longest two weeks ever.  I don't fel very confident at the moment but will wait until weekend before ruling anything out.

Wishing you both all the best and praying for us all

Hi ladies - I'm on almost the same schedule - I had two Day 5 embryos transferred on Jan 17. Go in for a blood test on Day 12 (in two days). I have also had momentary cramping (in the morning) and am also taking progesterone. My breasts are no longer tender, either (they were last week).... waiting is hard!

I do feel different in my self its hard to describe really how im feeling at the mo.
I havent thought that much today about it as i have been which is good for me as i wasnt sleeping very well, an the days r just dragging :(.

Hi

Chrissy how are you getting on?

I had 2 embryos transferred on the 16th Jan and now on my 9th day.  I am also considering doing a pregnancy test but also wanting to wait another 5 days (I was asked to do a HPT 14 days after transfer).  I have had varying symptoms from cramps, feeling tired and sleepy to tender breasts - which I guess is due to the progesterone suppositories.  However, now on day 9 after transfer my breasts are no longer tender.

All this waiting is so hard when you really want something.

Best wishes to all.

I wish you lots of luck with this cycle.  Since you said you did IVF &  are on progesterone that is what is causing the cramping & peeing.  it's all normal.
I cheated & did HPT also & started testing positive on day 8 but remeber everyone is different becuase the embryos implant at different times.

Keep us posted & sending you lots of BABY DUST!!!
