cyst/follicle size during pregnancy

I was wondering if anyone knew how many cyst/follicles and what size they should be on your ovaries in order produce normal amounts of progesterone to carry a very early pregnancy.  I am currently 5 wks pregnant, but had two previous m/c from blighted ovums.  The dr. stated that I had low progesterone levels previously and I am currently not taking any progesterone.  My U/S yesterday showed a GS, Yolk Sac and possibly the starts of a fetal pole along with 4 cysts on my right ovary, largest measuring 4mm and 1 on my left measuring 3mm.  I just want to make sure I am doing the right think by not taking progesterone suppliments.  My dr. dosen't think that progesterone will help.  He believes that if you are going to miscarry, you will do it whether you are on progesterone suppliments or not.

Im not sure if I have an answer to your question but if I had low progesterone I might ask the doc if he didnt mind giving a perscription for progesterone just for your peace of mind and to help you know you are covering all bases.  Some people think it works and some dont.  If it doesnt hurt taking it then why not??? Good luck!!!

has he checked your progesterone levels? i have read alot about low progesterone and most studies indicate that progesterone supplements are not really useful after a positive pregnancy test. now if you have low progesterone in your luteal phase, i think that is different. i must say that i have had 5 mc and with the last one i used progesterone supplements once i got bfp and all it did was delay the mc. i sure do hope this baby stays put for you for atleast 35 more weeks. God Bless!
