Three days ago I had my right fallopian tube removed due to ectopic pregnancy I was 5wks6days, and the pain was bad but not excruciating, mine even subsided after a couple hours and came back the next day and subsided again ,by then my tube had ruptured so if you have any incling to some sharp pains here and there or pressure on one side get it checked out! I was brown spotting a week and a half before this happened and they said it was normal my hcg levels were climbing as they should to so anytime you feel anything may be wrong get checked out you know your body.
I just missed my period this month an I took a pregnancy test which confirmed I was pregnant I went to my obgyn an he did another test an which came back positive but when he did the vaginal sonogram he did see anything so he sent me to have blood test so on tuesday I would know if its ectopic or not.....maybe its too early in my pregnancy too see anything in my uterus....but I havent had any pain or symptoms which indicates an ectopic pregnancy
hi boosty. i had a dull ache and was spotting dark brown. My HCG was going up but not doubling. I also had dizzy spells with mine. I know the wait to get your result must feel like forever but i certainly hope its all good news for you. I have all my fingers crossed for you.
my doctor couldnt see anythign at 5weeks with an ultrasound. i have to wait til tuesday to get my hcg numbers. i cant say i am in pain, but i feel uncomfortable on the left side of my lower abdomenal. somtimes when i cough it hurts and when i turn at bedtime. i am getting so scared and worried that i havent shared my news with anyone yet.
I never had any pain until my tube ruptured at 8wks pg. But in my early pg I did have a dull constant ache on my left side (the side I ovulated from) and dr said it was probably the corpus luteum. I was really freaked out about it and worried it was another ectopic. It eventually went away and all is fine now. If you were on meds to increase number of follicles and ovulated on both sides, it could be corpus luteum.
The blood test won't absolutely confirm anything, but it can give you an indication if there is a problem. With ectopic the numbers are usually low and rise slower. Not always tho. The only way to know for sure is an u/s to see if sac is in the uterus. They can usually see something in the 5th week.
Good luck to you.
I jst had surgery on tuesday due to an e/p I was 9 weeks pg and the only pain I felt was dullpain in my lower back everyone is different some people feel nothing at all I too was spotting red and pink.My sis had pain in her houlder that felt like gas. My Hcg wasnt dbling either it was only going up 200 every couple of days.Well good luck hope everything works out for u!
thank you guys. i dont have the hcg results yet. i will probably know after the second one on tuesday. so i shouldnt worry. my pain is on my left ovary. no cysts. just had it checked. its sharp. it hurts when i cough, move fast or something. at night wehn i twist and turn it hurts. should i not be worried?
i just had an ectopic a few weeks ago. the pain was constant and one sided. at times it was a dull ache and others sharp but constant either way. i had spotting bright red off and on for a few days and my hcg doubled originally but then plateaud. the final draw was the u/s that confirmed an empty uterus when the pain got severe.. like milky stated if the pain gets worse or you start to bleed then you need to go to the er. by the way what was your hcg?
Ectopic pregnancy give you a pain that you cannot handle not only sharp pain.
Its like you are going to die in that moment.
If you have sharp pain in your ovaries it might be still from the overstimulation.
I really do not think you can rule an ectopic from the pain. They have to do an U/S and find the uterus empty.
If the pain gets worse though go to the ER.
I hope everything willbe ok and you will have good news.
Miky
