embryo transfer

I had frozen embryo transfer 5 days ago and I'm very anxious. I have cramps and I have been told this is due to the medication. Can you tell me how soon after embryo transfer would you start to get pregnancy symptoms and if the cramps I'm experiencing are normal? With every cramp I'm petrified it's my period. I know it's too early to take a test but I've been told my embryos are very good quality and I would just like to know if I'm pregnant! Please help.

I think every situation is different. I just had cramps throughout my 2ww & the pregnancy symptoms came about a week after my beta. Although I did a fresh cycle. The cramps are a bit scary but a number of other people have had them with positive results. All the best!

Wow you and I had the transfer the same day 9-3-2011. I had 2 3 day embies frozen and this is what they transfered. I too have cramps I am taking progesterin 200mg 2 a day and Estradol 2mg 2 a day at bedtime Crinone. I dont know if the cramps are implantation or cause of the meds. My beta is 23 march and the wait is stressful.

If you like we can be cycle buddies:)

I did a FRESH 5 day  Transfer & tested positive on day 5.  I was having back pain & wound up to be twins. My 2nd sono is on 3/17.
Some of the other pains I had were from the progestereone so it's hard to tell what is reall & what isn't.

Good Luck ladies.....

unfortunately there are no pregnancy symptoms, especially when you are on all the IVF hormones.
you'll have to test to know.  my first BFP was 11dpo (8dp3dt), but it can take up to 14-15 dpo to test positive.
good luck!

I think cramping is pretty normal.  I had cramping after my fresh transfer (which didn't result in a pregnancy) and also cramping after my frozen transfer (which DID result in a pregnancy!).  I will be six weeks along on Friday and am just starting to get pregnancy symptoms (nauseous, food aversions, cravings, etc).  The only symptom I had sooner was extreme fatigue.  I had my FET on 2/23.  My first beta was on 3/4 and my second was on 3/7.  I started to feel inhumanly exhausted about 3/1 or 3/2.  So that was my first clue that something was "up."  The cramping, sore breasts, etc can be due to all the IVF medications you're on.  I can't stress enough to you how important it is to NOT WORRY and/or stress, though.  I know that's definitely easier said than done.  But what is meant to be will happen and everything will work out.  It only makes it harder on your body when you're stressing.  GOOD LUCK to you!!
