This is my first venture onto this forum. I'm happy to see so many people supporting each other through one of the most frustrating and emotional roller coaster rides ever! I have been trying to get pregnant for a few years now and just recently had my first IUI. Today was the day I was 'allowed' to test but I cheated and started testing 2 days early because the waiting was making me crazy. Anyway all 3 hpts have come back negative. Still no period though, so there's a tiny, tiny glimmer of hope. I am 40 and doing this on my own so it's nice to see that there are others out there who actually understand how this process feels! Has anyone had a similar experience?
Hey I haven't had a iui done but I understand how you are feeling. My last cycle I remember testing early as well cause I couldnt wait. It was a BFN. I am still hopeful and not giving up and still waiting on my BFP. I'm going to start tracking my BBT and that will give me an idea of when I O. I too think this is an amazing site. Everyone is so encouraging and supportive to one another. We all need that. It's great to meet new people and see how others deal with things and see how they cope.
Welcome to this forum. I have also been trying to conceive since November 2007. I started fertility treatments in September 2010 and miraculously ended up pregnant this first cycle. I miscarried this baby in November 2010 (11 weeks). Since then, I have done three more cycles of IUI. I am currently in the 2WW with the third cycle and should test on Sunday (14 days after the HCG injection). I did take a test today (day 12) and it was negative. I have a little hope that I tested to soon and if I test on Sunday the results will change. This is the most frustrating roller coaster ride you can imagine. Good luck to you.
