hpt negative after ivf
Hi all I am new to the world of IVF!! Everything went great 2 Embryos 5 day transfer on 8/24. I admit I cheated and did a HPT and 2 different brands came up Neg. Tomorrow is my blood work. I do not feel pms but I have no pg feelings either. What are my chances that the blood will be positive?? I could really use a little hope!
Don't throw in the towel! It only takes one to take! Did you do bloods yet? I had great embryos so don't panic yet. And I am sending Baby Dust your way! If you need anything give a shout we are all in this together!
I'm so sorry. I think I'm headed in the same direction. They transferred three and two were good but none were great : (
Well today I went for bloods and it was negative :( Somehow I knew it! I cried and now I need to move forward! So I guess its back to the beginning!

I had my first ivf in May this year and i did a total of three HPT. The first one came back NEG but the next two came back POS. I wish you lots of luck tomorrow, try to stay positive.

Can't really comment about the negative hpt but I will say that I did not have a single symptom of pregnancy until I was 6 weeks. Hang in there. I know how difficult the waiting can be.
i would imagine that there is a reason why we are asked to come back several days after transfer and do a blood test to determine if we got pg or not... otherwise, our docs would just instruct us to get an over the counter pg test and report to them the result.
that being said... hopefully your blood test comes back positive.... it can happen. TRY not to think about it until tomorrow. it is out of your hands...
