im ovulating on cycle day 2

recently had molar pregnancy so i bought a microscopic ovulation kit it says im ovulating but im on cycle day 2 and bleeding quite heavily. can i still conceive even though im bleeding as i suffered a miscarriage 6 weeks before th molar and im very eager to get pregnant.

It is possible that you are o'ing. But, not likely. It is most likely the hormones that are causing a false reading. When you say a microscopic o kit, do you mean a ferning microscope?  You may want to cross check the result with an opk. They tend to be a little more reliable than the ferning.  My dh had positive ferning and I am sure he wasn't o'ing.  I am sorry for your loss.

I've never used one myself, but I know hormones can be a little out of whack when you're on your period (that's why some women also see irratic temperatures when on their periods), so I would probably wait and start using the microscope after you're done bleeding. Best of luck!
