just got progesterone levels back

Well i just got a call from my docs office and they told me that i probably didnt ovulate this month. my levels are only 4.8 and they said that they like to see it at like 11-12 so they said that if i wanted to i can start clomid next month. so i guess we will just have to wait and see what happens. if i somehow did ovulate and do get preg it will probably be another m/c. so i am supposed to call when i get AF and let them know i want to start clomid and talk to them about my low progesterone. I actually feel ok about this because i feel that were arent out yet with the drugs to help i feel that we are going to get preg soon. last time i was on it i didnt get preg but i think that was because i didnt know that clomidmade you ovulate later in you cycle. but i do have one question can i still use OPK while on clomid? Thanks so much for listening to me whine and complain.

i just finished my first round of clomid...(days 5-9) 50mg and i finally ovulated on day 20.... doc said it was pretty late, but at least i did. I used the opk starting around day 16....

yes you can still use opk's while on clomid.  however, there is a higher chance of getting a false positive, especially if you test too early.

i was told after taking it for days 5-9, that i should start testing on day 12, but also bd every other day from days 12-18.  you are supposed to ovulated about a week after taking your last pill.

i had low progesterone with my DS and i carried him almost to term (37 weeks) but i had to do suppositories as well as shots twice a week. so i know its possible but its deffinatly no fun

Well even if you did get your BFP this month, couldn't they give you Progesterone right after?  I don't know much about Clomid but I'm about to start doing the homework in case I need it.  I've heard women who had VERY low progesterone and still getting pregnant and even carrying to term.  So just keep praying and if you get a BFP ask for the prosterone right away.  I guess you could use OPK's but just buy even more just in case.
