i have had an lh surge 8 days in a row could this be bad?

I agree - an OPK can tell you if you are pregnant sometimes - but it is usually some time after you missed your period.  

I have PCOS and I sometimes get multiple LH surges throughout the month ... I would talk to your doctor about it.  If you think you are pregnant, then take an HPT.  Don't rely on the OPK's.

No, a high progesterone level indicates you ovualted it will not tell you if you are pregnant.

Ive been using the first response kind that you pee on i think its been working but i really dont know for sure ive just had 2 dark lines for 8 days now i go next wed. to get my progesterone level checked i wonder if the dr can tell if im pregnant by that test

i dont have pcos so im hoping i may be pregnant all i can do is hope im getting older and i want a baby more than anything thanks for giving me some advice

Sometimes if you have a cyst it will cause positive OPKs

I agree - with PCOS your LH is elevated and can cause positive results.  Or you could be misreading the test.  Are you doing the ones with the lines (vs. smiley faces)?  Are you sure it's the test line and not the comparison line you're looking at?  The test line needs to be as dark or darker than the comparison line.

Do you have PCOS? That will cause positive results, also it will detect the pregnancy hormone as well.....Or you could be reading them wrong some OPK's are hard to translate.
