I was told by using is vaginally I would experience less side effects. Have you been having any? I feel fine, tired, but fine.
I am on it orally 3x a day....My prog. test was on 12-24 and no one was in the office to read my results until today. They put me on it
just to be safe." So, since I have been taking it, I have been told to stay on it until I do a hpt.
Now....I was on another forum with an MD and he said his office does not prescribe Prometrium anymore...they prescribe Endometrin or Crinone for infertility/fertility patients. He said there are fewer side effects and supposedly they are the only two progesterone supplements approved for infert. patients by the FDA.
Having said that, he followed it up by saying that the prog. does not stay in your system very long so that is why many people are put on a minimum of 300mg daily...
I hear you, i'm all out right now otherwise I would have tested by now.
DH went to the urologist today, not alot of fun. He has him lined for a bunch of tests. Men don't take these things very well. I guess I'll have to baby him for a while.....
We still have two guests here, but my parent-in-law left this morning.
I probably should have waited until 14 dpo too...but I have a pack of these pregnancy strips just sitting in my bathroom cabinet, so it's kind of hard not to :-)
I have just been really tired but that could just be the Holidays. I am trying to make myself wait until 14 dpo, I know I'll breakdown this weekend and test anyway!
Is your family still visiting?
I'm doing pretty good...thanks for asking :-) No real pregnancy signs, though, and I got another BFN this morning (at 11 dpo, I believe), so I'm not really sure... I totally agree about the 2WW. It's always soooooo slow!!! Seems like the first half of the cycle flies by and the second part is on slow motion...
How about you? Any interesting signs or symptoms yet?
Hey Heather! How are you? Feeling anything different? Thanks for responding, I need to not be so impatient I feel like this 2ww is taking forever!
Hi islandmama! I actually noticed the same thing when I picked up my prescription back in September (when I was pregnant), so I asked the pharmacist about it and she said to just ignore the warning as long as it's prescribed by your doctor specifically for ttc or pregnancy. So, no need to worry :-)
thank you, I hope it works, I have miscarried 3 times and I don't think I can do it again. Now if I can just get the BFP!
mine said that too so i called the pharmacist and they said its ok to take and i have a healthy son because i took it (would have miscarried if i didn't) so its ok to take just only as your doc prescribed good luck
Wow, with those 2 positive results I'll keep doing it, thank you so much for responding I feel so much better now!
My bottle says the same thing. I insert them vaginally once a day. When I asked my doctor she said that it was fine. I am 6 weeks pg right now.
I'm on propetrium 3 times a day and I got my BFP so i'm not sure why the bottle has that warning sign. I was thinking of asking the nurse on monday when I have my hcg checked. My two first test were very high so it might be twins so they want to check my levels again just to make sure they are still going up. If don't already have your BFP I hope u get it soon. If u find anything out let me know and I'll do the same.
