I had no side effects with clomid although it did extend my cyle from 28 to about 32 days. OPK can help with fertile days although you have to wait about 4-5 days after your last Clomid pill.
my progesterone was .6 today and he said my estrogen was low too. I'm wondering why he hasn't suggested Clomid. It took me 14 months to get af after my m/c. It just seems like my body is in shock and isn't responding at all. I feel like I'm not working properly..haha. This has been 4 months of this kind've stuff....I emailed him to see what he thinks...
I was going to my OB/GYN and he was doing blood tests..etc after my 6 months of trying independently...After he ran all of his tests, he referred me to an RE. I could not get into see him for months so my OB called him and asked what we could do in the meantime. My progesterone was at 12 and my RE likes it higher so he put me on Clomid before I ever got into see him. I ovulate on my own, but the Clomid helps raise my prog. and supposedly can give me a better quality egg.
I want Clomid. I just found out I didn't o this month...how long did it take your RE"s before they gave you guys clomid. Mine told me I wasn't o'ing this month but didn't mention clomid.
I think Clomid gives me Terret's!!! HA!!! I become a terrible potty mouth....Ok so that might be the moodiness, but my husband is convinced it is Terret's!!
Try taking it at night. That has really made a difference for me. My RE says if you are going to be successful on Clomid, it is usually by month 3....I am now starting month 4..so there goes that theory.
I ovulate late and Clomid did not change that for me...I still ovulate on Day 18.
My Dr. told me 12-15 to Bd but I think the best thing to do is use OPK's so you know for sure.
Great. Thanks! I totally think it's worth it, but I just wanted to be forewarned. Which days of the cycle are best for BD? I get so many conflicting answers!!!!
The side effects last the whole cycle. My side effects were moodiness, hot flashes, headaches, night sweats, insomnia and most of all I was just a B*TCh
