slight bleed?!

As I am anxiously awaiting on my menses so I can start my next IVF, I had something happened yesterday. I am due up next week with my Menses. I have been feeling slight Uterine contraction, as this is ok before my period, I had a slight bleed. It stopped. What is this? could it be side effects of the 1st cycle of meds? what could this be?

When was your first cycle. My firrst was 12/09 and M/C 1/10. It took forever for my menses to come and has not been regular since. I will get it 2-3 days one month, skip a month 5-7 days the next and so on. I wouldn't worry about it. You don't need to have or get your menses to start IVF. They just want to be sure you have ovulated already or coming close to it, because the medications can overstimulate you and then it becomes a problem. I'm starting again late Sep or early Oct. Hope it works out for us both

My last menses was 8/1. I stopped the meds on 8/12. You had a miscarriage? I have only started the IVF meds. They tel me I do need my menses.
