Hey there... I hadn't seen you online much and was wondering how you were doing.  I've also been looking for that online book you were gonna send me.  I left my email on the previous post.  It is ***@****.

I've been doing pretty good.  Yesterday started off kinda bad.. I was loosing my optimism but it didn't last long.  By that afternoon, I was up again.  I tested today, 9 dpiui.  I used a FRER, and it was BPN but I'm not discouraged by it.  I know it is really early, and I would have been really surprised to see it positive even if I am technically pg...

My bbs are kinda sore so that has me optimistic.  Normally by bbs don't get sore prior to AF.  I didn't take clomid this cycle so it couldn't be that.  I did get an estrogen shot, which can cause sore bbs but that was 11 days ago, so I don't think that would still affect me now.. The hcg shot was also 11 days ago, so I don't think it would be that either..  But who knows... Last night I also had mild heart burn which is not common me.

So how are you doing?  What cd are you on?  Do have an idea of when your next u/s or IUI is going to be scheduled?

wow I sent that book out to you right away I will resend it tonight when I get home from work!!! I am on CD 7, started my stims on sunday night and go in tomorrow for u/s and blood work, thought I would give this IUI thing one more try, then if not, doing IVF in the fall, waiting till fall because DH is a school teacher, and 1) does not get paid over the summer BUT.. he is teaching in virginia this summer at old dominion college, for 4 weeks, he trains highschool teachers who want to incorporate new classes, anyway he gets 10,000 for 4 weeks, so we figured since insurance doesnt cover IVF and we have to pay for it, may as well pay upfront rather then go into debt. so thats where I am at, hopefully this IUI will work.. anyway, thinking about ya, hoping ya get our BFP

I've read a few of your posts and i know you are 36, as am I.
If this cycle isn't the one for you which i hope isn't the case, have you ever considered taking a small amount of melatonin to boost your fertility?
I'm not currently trying, need to get some things in order first, but i take .25 mgs a day and I read that a study was done on periomenopausal women and the effects of melatonin on their cycles, etc. They found taking melatonin dramatically boosted their fertility and restored it to more "youthful levels"..
I have also read though, that melatonin in higher doses can adversely affect fertility so I guess it's kind of a gamble but maybe taking it for a few months and seeing if it has any benefits might be an idea.
I'm noticing my ovulation, EWCM is much more pronounced since i've been taking it..
i know the research out there is scarce but just a thought. Check out melatonin on wikipedia and click on the link to the study where it makes this claim.
