Hi I am a 33years old woman and I am still on birth control pills since I am 18years old.My gyneologist advised me today that my endometrium lining is around 3mm.(monthly bleeding finished 10days ago which lasted for 5days).he advised me thatthere is no need for panic or fear as thin lining is common after long term birth control pill usage and once I stop the pill, the lining should get ticker naturally.thethinning is reversible side effect of birth control pills.what do you think?i want kids in future and i am in panic..pls advise..

Sure!  There are meds out there (in fact I'm on some now) that thicken your lining.  By the way, each month your lining changes.  So it may be 3.2 today but can be much thicker if you take care of it next month.  Caffeine definitely thins out the lining so try not to drink caffinated drinks & chocolate!  Little sacrafice ONLY when you think of the bigger picture... I know!  Are you seeing an RE?  Estrace is what I am on to thicken my lining (estrogen).  Talk to an RE.
