Hi!
After transfer it typically takes up to 10 days for the embryos to implant and begin to produce HCG. Before that time a pregnancy test is not useful. I get lots of questions about how to find out whether someone is pregnant before the HCG is measureable, and as far as I know, there is no way. Difficult as it may be, you are going to have to wait.
Good luck!

We were told that the embryo will take a min. of 6 days to implant. and that is using assisted hatching. not sure how long to implant for a non assisted embryo. The 2 week waiting period is the longest. I am on day 5 dpt.
Sorry, just realized you posted this in the expert forum and I am by no means an expert....just wanted to clarify :)
You really need to wait when taking the hpt. 2 day post transfer is way too early to get any reliable results...if you test to early a positive can be from the trigger injection prior to retrieval....try to wait, I know its difficult....tests a day or two before your blood test will be more accurate....but still likely to get a false negative...false positives at that stage are less likely, I believe.
Good luck!!
Thank you for answering my questions. No problem pollymae429...when I was at that point all advice was good advice for me...but now I have been getting BFP!!!! I took four tests just to make sure...
But my blood draw is still scheduled for February 5th...the wait still feels long!!
