Need help

I'm starting my first round if Clomid and day 5 of my cycle is Saturday. I need to know what days do my husband and I need to have sex and what days we don't because I've read that timed sex is essential for success??. Thanks!!

Hi!
If you were my patient, I would advise you the following:
If you are starting Clomid on cycle day 5, your ovulation should be on
cycle day 16--so for best results you would want to have intercourse every day or every other day (not more often) probably beginning on cycle day 11-17 or 18.  (Remember to count the first day of your period as day 1)/
Two other tips:
Get ovulation predictors--they are similar to home pregnancy kits and will narrow down the fertile "window"  Also, be sure to let your doctor know if you DONT" ovulate.
Tip 2:  you might want to try our ovulation tracker:

Thanks so much for your advice!  I am having weird cm so I don't know if I'm ovulating or not.  Trying to stay positive with all of this!  Never thought I would have problems trying to have a baby-that's what women do :)  But anyways-I hope you get some good results soon. Just don't give up!

Hi I am also on Clomid. Just started my first round and now I'm waiting for ovulation. Sadly I'm on day 16 and still no sign of ovulation anytime soon. I just wanted to recommend you go to amazon to buy the opks. They are very very cheap. Like 50 opks and 20 pregnancy test for $16. Also get some preseed. Clomid sometimes dries up cm. I found mine at walgreens for around $20. Good luck :)
