Safe to use Icy Hot for hip pain - 9w4d pg after IVF #2

Hi Dr. Plosker (or Mayer or Keefe);

I am currently 9w4d pg after IVF #2 with your practice.

I have a question...I am having hip pain while I'm sleeping.  Is this the round ligament pain I keep reading about?  Is it safe to use something like Icy Hot?

Mayer: I would have a tendency to stay away form these products. Alot of them contain, salicylates, the same thing in asprin, and easily absorbed by the skin. ( bleeding concerns, I may be to conservative also). I would move towards physical therapy, yoga and heat but not on abdomen.
Yes, as the uterus enlarges all of the ligaments are streching a may be reffered pain to all parts of the body with the same nerve distribution.
