hydrasalpinx drained filshie clips appied but im still in pain

Hi ive was diagnosed with hydrosalpinx in my tube and went into hospital to get tube removed  2 months ago but after sugery i was told the tube was not removed due to the tube being so close to my overey and for reasons of safety they just drained the tube and applied two filshie clips but since the operation i have been in constant pain in the area and  with backache and have been taking painkillers which work only on a temporary basis. Could the clips move out of place?
my bowel movements has decreased drastically aswell and i feel very bloated please advice me what i need to do as moving around seems to be a problem.

I had a hydrosapynx and my left fallopian tube removed.  I had and still at times have pain in my left side.  Even when having labor pains or cramps I felt it way more on left side.  For me they feel I might have scar tissue.  As far as your bowel movements, that's probably due to the pain killers if they are narcotics.  They cause major constipation. I think your best bet is to let your dr know.

Hi!
The first thing I would advise is to stop all narcotic pain relievers and get a good bowel clean out.  I usually recommend that my patients take Miralax for 3-7 days.  In addition I ask them to start Benefiber and Milk of Magnesia daily.  In your case, if you have been on narcotic pain releivers for awhile, you might need a stimulant laxative such as Pericolace for 2-3 days to get "the ball rolling".  Magnesium Citrate works well, but is hard to take because of the taste. Oral Fleets works too.
You also need to drink 2-3 liters of water daily.
Basically what I am saying here is that the pain killers are causing your constipation, and probably most of your pain as well.
The next thing I would suggest is to get an xray or ultrasound to be certain that the clips are in the right location.  An ultrasound might be the best option, because it would also tell you if your hydrosalpinx has recurred.
Hope this helps!
Good luck!

Hi Thanks for your post my left tube could not be reomoved as it was so close to my bowel and instead the gyno just drained the fluid and clipped it with 2 filshie clips and since the opp ive been experiencing pain and am not if it could be the clips have moved out of place but painkillers dont help. ive had major consistipation since dec and tiried laxatives on a daily basis and only been able to go a few times.
The doctor seesm to think its normal and the pain will eaze off with time as it internal due to opp but its been its been 11 weeks weeks since the opp and im still feeling pain.
