pcos,trying to have another baby w/o estradiol

I was diagnosed with PCOS 8yrs ago. I have a 10 yr old at 21,i am 31 now,w/o any fertility drugs.Four yrs of trying to have another lead my Dr. to put me on Provera,clomid days 4-7 and estradiol days 8-13.I concieved first try,he is 5 now. I want a girl.So i taken the Provera,im on day 4,about to start 100mg of clomid,but 4got 2 order estradiol! It won't arrive in time anyways,so do I need to take it in order to conceive?What is it for? i'm high risk and want a girl,so i cant be on clomid for long!Please respond,asap,thank you!

Hi!
I often cycle women without estradiol.  There is a good chance that the Clomid alone will do the trick. If you don't have success this cycle, make sure to get the estradiol for the next try.
I hope you get your girl!  I don't have any suggestions on how to improve the odds for a girl--
statistically you have a 50% chance though!  Good luck!
