pregnancy after contraception
Hello I am 26 years old and have been on the depo shot for years. My last shot was in august and I am on my second period. I am trying to get pregnant. How long should I try before seeing a fertilization doctor to see if there's something wrong?

Hi!
If you were my patient, I would advise you that if you have regular monthly periods, you can wait a year before seeing a fertility specialist.  If your periods are irregular, you should probably see someone sooner, since that would mean that you might not be ovulating consistently.
Hope this helps!
