The success of fallopian tube reconstruction depends on the amount of healthy fallopian tube to reconnect. At least 4 cm of fallopian tube should be present after the surgery, with the end of the tube near the ovary (called the fibriated end, or fibria) healthy. It would be best for your doctor to have a copy of the note from your tubal ligation to ascertailn what the chances of a successful surgery would be. It sounds from your description that there may not be much tube left. If the fallopian tubes cannot be reconnected, IVF is another option to think about.
