3 day period?

helllo !
this month i started my period a day late and it only lasted 3 days it was very light and a light red colour.
i am on the pills but have missed quite a few of my pills
ive slept with my boyfriend loads of time before my period started
i also have beeen having really bad headaches and feeling sick. i also cnt sleep at night
could i be pregnant or was this a normal period.
should i take a test if so when should i take 1

Hi!
Take a test.  I ALWAYS recommend taking a pregnancy test whenever there is a question!  Its pretty important to take your pills every day--especially with the very low dosages that we use now.  If you are not pregnant, your period may be light because you forgot a few here and there.  If you are pregnant, well, you're pregnant!
The CRITICAL pills are the ones during the first week of the pack.  You really have to start the pack on time, and take the ones in the first week every day.  If you miss some in this week and have to double up, you can actually induce ovulation!
