Hi!
Usually if clomid is going to work, it will trigger ovulation by day 14 and the menstrual period will arrive at day 28 ( if no pregnancy ). It may be possible to continue this particular cycle longer and watch the follicles to see if they grow. If you were my patient, however, I would change something next cycle--either increase the dose or switch to injectibles (which is probably what you will ultimately need). In the years I have been in this business, I have found that it is much easier to conceive when one is NOT trying, or even better---trying NOT to!
Good luck!
Dr B
thanks, I just hope that I am also ovulating late, I never knew how stressfull ttc is, I am so stressed! .... did you get pregnant?
What day did you take the Clomid, and how much? I was on Clomid for 2 cycles and ovulated around day 21. So yes, it is definitely possible that you might ovulate, and maybe later then normal. I was overstimulated by the Clomid, and when they checked me around day 21 (when I thought I was ovulating) I had a lot of large follices, and one really big one (which was causing all the pain and the reason for the ultrasound).
