I have the ovulation kit tester and it showed the 5-6th April as the good days. Did the ovuation time change or did i mischeck. /My period is the same each month. And i am only on metphormin.

If you stayed on a 26 day cycle this month, the 13th day (the day you ovulated from the first post) would be May 3rd.  I would start testing on May 1st.  You should have a positive opk test on the first or second, meaning that the 3rd is when you ovulate. best of luck!

hi

Well you were right!!!.My period came on he 21st which means my cycle did change to a 26th day cycle now i will check the  2nd as my ovulation day right?

As anie said the doctors will ususally look inside the uterus area, the ovaries and you can see on the monitor how is looks. And they will measure the egg if there is one to make sure its normal. So if one is there then more than likely ovulation has not taken place yet.

I have to g oon the 2nd around my next ovulation for a check to see the eggs. Will let u know the outcome

I don't have PCOS at least if I do it hasn't been diagnosed.  I just had endo.  My surgeon said that not all of the endo is visible and he could only get the visible endo. He was conservative in doing the surgery since I am ttc.  I was pretty confident in my dr until I had a cyst burst already.  I know I am ovulating because of the Pathology report from the hysteroscopy.  I had other issues as well. My doc did a d&C because my uterine lining was "bumpy".  After a cyst burst within a month of surgery I did go to another obgyn for a 2nd opinion and that doc said to ttc for one or two more cycles then go to a fertility dr.  Good to know about estrogen making the endometriosis worse.  I wish I had the money to do the IUI or IVF.  I think I will just hope for the best, and save money in the meantime!

Hi!
You certainly generated a flurry of replies!  Remember that what the ovulation predictors are checking for is the LH surge which happens 24-48 hours ahead of ovulation.  So if you have a 28 day cycle, you will "surge" on day 12 and ovulate on day 14.  It is IMPORTANT for the sperm to be ready and waiting when that egg "hatches" though, so you DO want to have intercourse on days 11, 12, etc. ( every day to every other day is optimal).  Sperm survive in the female reproductive tract for about 3 days.

By the way, nature knows very well how to do this, so, if you, or he is feeling extra "frisky" even if it is not a "fertile day"--there may be a good reason--so INDULGE!

Good luck!

Thanks annie.  I had only been told by my dr that the lap would relieve pain by 65% and to ttc asap.  Thats why I have been so confused.  I feel better now.

Wado- how does the doctor see if there are eggs on day 13?

Im wondering if your cycle is just changing a little and adjusting because you just had a lap.  I just had a lap and hysteroscopy for endometriosis.  I had 4 cysts burst in a year and it is soooooooo painful.  Also we have been ttc for 9months.  My doctor said that one ovary was attached to the pelvic wall even though my endometriosis wasn't that bad.  Also my uterus was too built up to conceive.  He did a d&c to correct that.  The funny thing is I have already had a cyst burst and my lap was a month ago, and I never got bad cramps before and I had to call in sick today because of terrible cramps last night. crazy!  I think it would be easier to be a guy!

If the ovulation kit was positive on the 6th it would mean that you ovulated on the 7th.  That would be the 13th day of your cycle.  Some obgyns say that your period always comes 14 days after you ovulate.  The time from when your period starts to when you ovulate can vary.  From ovulation to your next period should always be 14 days (or so they say.. and its always been true for me)  So hopefully this month you don't even get a period but if you do, I would guess that your period will be here on the 21st. That would mean that your cycle went from 29 to 26.  Which ovulation kit do you have?  I just use the strips and Im debating getting the kit.
