I have PCOSa and was diagnosed 6 years ago, I went on the pill for 4 and a half years, I came off of it july 10 and have been trying for a baby but in the last 13 months I have only had 3 periods, its common with pcos, if u have found u have put on weight (like myself) this could be related to PCOS, but if u do have this u will find it harder to lose the weight xx
As nothing abnormal was found in your test results, you change your lifestyle. Regular exercise, healthy food consisting of fruits and vegetables, avoiding junk foods and sodas, reducing stress, and good night sleep may help in regulating your menstrual periods.
Hi!
You may have a condition known as PCOS. If you were my patient, I would test a TSH, prolactin level, and an FSH. Once I had these results, I would know more about how to proceed, but would probably want to start you on a medication such as Clomid and possibly Metformin to help you ovulate more regularly. If you are overweight, losing as little as 10 lb can sometimes help to you have a more regular cycle.
Good luck!
