plan b 3 times in a month an a half

Me and my boyfriend have bought plan b twice already since Dec 16 of 2010.  The first time I took a pregnancy test first to make sure I wasn't pregnant already from any other time we had sex unprotected and I wasn't so I bought it and took it. Then about two weeks ago I took plan b again.  Now we are deciding to buy it again because we had unprotected sex again.  Will it still work after taking it so often in such a short amount of time? Also I am starting my cycle soon so would that increase or decrease any possibilities of becoming pregnant?

Hi!
If you are taking Plan B that often, you would probably be better off just taking oral contraceptives.  They are very similar in composition, and OCs are much more reliable, if taken properly, in preventing pregnancy.
Plan B works by delaying ovulation, so it often also disrupts the cycle and the period comes  either earlier or later than expected.  A pregnancy test in this situation is always the right thing to do.
As far as your chances for pregnancy, I suspect that if you two continue to have unprotected sex frequently, you will eventually end up being parents.
A reliable method of contraception is usually best in the long run.
Good luck!

all i know about plan b is that my obgyn once told me it was really hard on your body and couldnt be taken more than 3 times a year if that holds still true, and your not wanting kids soon i would vist you obgyn or family doc and get on birth control... hope everything works out for ya.
