thanks for your support ladies !!! and i wish you all the best also ....
hi,thanks for replying to my message !!! i had my icsi done in another country ,i live in usa,as i've read a lot ,i learnt that the only 8cell embrios are good for transfering ...i'm sooo upset, because i wasn't aware that time,i flew back yesterday ,after 13 hour flight ,because they checked my beta hcg on the 7 th day after the transfer and it was very low.they said it should be above 4 by their scale and mine was only 3.7.they couldn't determine exactly if it was the right time to do the test ,as they usually do it on the 14 day,i'm very helpless and all i do is cry and have no hopes left,i 've never had any problems myself,i have a 9 year old boy from my first husband ,but my second one had some problems and we had to do the TESE (sperm aspiration thru surfery ) :( :( ....today i had light brown spottin ,and it's my 9 th day ,please tell me if i still have a chance to be pregnant ??????? thank you
The 8 cell embryo gives you the best chance.......but remember it only takes one.
Best wishes to you!!
I agree with babywishing32 - your doctor definitely should have told you what your specific chances are of getting pregnant through IVF since each individual is different. And not to bum you out, but it is my understanding that 2 cells and 4 cells don't even qualify for transfer, so I'm surprised your doctor used those. FYI - I had IVF in May with two grade A 8 cells transferred on day 3.
Hi!! I too just had my first and hopefully only IVF cycle!! I had a 5day transfer and transferred one blast. I'm guessing you did a 3day transfer? Did your clinic do ICSI? (putting sperm in egg). Also, your MD should of spoke to you about your personal chances of become through IVF. Does your clinic post a "track record" stats of their LIVE PREG from IVF??? I would look into all that!! Also you can check out a web-site called advancedfertility.com this clinc has many many pics and info on website! Hope this helps and best of luck!!!
