Does the trigger shot always make you ovulate in the 24-48 hours?

I'm so paranoid that my timing is always off, I'm at day 11 post iui and wonder if the ovidrel shot always works in the time period they tell you 24-36 hrs, i heard sometimes it can be up to 48 hours....does anyone think it could be longer than that....I've read to trust your DR but I'm getting so discouraged, feeling doubtful again...I thought 3rd time would be different...just so worried.

My dr always does 36 hours and he has gotten me pg total of 3 times.  1 times wasn't viable tho.  

Twice he also gave me an ultrasound at approx 31-32 hours after shot.  The follie was still there but he said you could tell it was close to ovulation, because the edges were jagged.  I could see exactly what he was talking about and have had enough ultrasounds to know that they didn't always look like that.  

So have you tested yet?  For me, I just want to know.. one way or the other.. so I always test as soon as possible.. others like to wait it out.

I have ovulated mainly 2-3 days later. I never O 24 hours later. The last couple of times I took the ovidrel, I didn't O until 4 days later. It is crazy! I feel like your body will O when it is ready. Do you do temping or anything to see when you O? I do - so  know when I O. Goo dluck - don't worry too much about it. Just baby dance when you can and wait for a BFP!
