It all depends, for those who use Progesterone after IUI or IVF it can often mock symptoms of pregnancy. But some signs can be sore boobs, lots of extra veins on your boobs, AF cramping, implantation bleeding, implantation cramping, stomach upset, sensitive to smell and of course nothing! I hope you get your BFP!

When I got pregnant with Quinn the only symptom I had was some minor AF like cramping when period was due. I was positive AF was on her way. Decided on a whim at 13dpo to test and it was positive.

I am 10dpo right now. I hate the 2ww... :) it is pure torture.  This time I have terrible breast pain. Can be PMS tho.

I'm 5 dpo and so far nothing... It is not a good sign, as when I had my BFP (sadly, chemical pregnancy) in April I had sore boobs at 3 dpo. But as they say, everybody is different and every pregnancy is different...

I am on my third round of clomid 50mg, first month horrible s/e (bfn), second month mild s/e (bfn) and this month it seems like I am like ten times more relaxed.  I did noticed I seem to pee alot during this 2ww, and have developed a cold sore, not sick though, very very tired, gassy and bloated but that has been all three months, and another weird thing was I was having the sneezes for the last three days.  I also couldnt stand the smell of butter today.  I am only at 4 dpo.

I'm on 9dpo after my first round of Clomid 50 mg. Not feeling any different than usual except my nipples have been really ouchy for days. Since the pain started around ovulation time, however, I'm just chalking that up to the Clomid.

Fingers crossed for us all...

I'm 8 days past transfer (5 day blasto - transferred 2) and this waiting is driving me crazy.  I've been a bit moody and had some cramping. I thought it was too late for implantation cramping, so I keep thinking AF is coming.  I haven't taken a HPT yet, but I'm tempted to take one when I get home from work.  Anyone else experience the cramping so many days after transfer - it starting around day 6 I think.  My b's were more sore earlier in the week, that seems to have gone away.

Wishing everyone the best of luck!!

Well I broke down and took the HPT.  It was positive, but the second line is much lighter.  Isn't that a bad sign? My blood test is tomorrow.  I am 8 days past day 5 transfer.  We transferred two.

Just reading everyones symptoms - gosh so many different ones!!

I am afraid I don't have anything to add. I am 8DPO I think today? I always have the same thing in the 2WW nausea, sore bb's, fatigue, bloating which are the same on or off clomid..... I do try not to pay too much attention to it all now after what feels like an eternity of TTC apart from the few days after AF has left and waiting for ovulation when I pay special attention to monitoring my OPK's as drive myself insane with interpretting symptoms.

I also refuse to take HPT's now unless AF is late as just can't bear to see another negative result!

Good luck everyone and SSBD to all..... I am looking forward to some BFP updates on this thread in a few days to keep us all going :)

Very sad today. I'm on 13 dpo and started spotting this morning after feeling telltale cramps last night. Tested and it was solidly BFN, which feels pretty definite as I'm probably due for full AF tomorrow on CD 28.

I'm really worried that this coming month is going to be a bust. Between my hubbie traveling and him probably having to get a surgery (not at all dangerous but with a painful healing period during which he most certainly will not be in the mood for bd-ing), we may have to skip it. I know I'm only 30 but each month of trying feels so precious and important when you've never been pregnant before, you know?

I'm calling the doc to see if I should bother with round #2 of Clomid for June or wait. Does anyone know what the next step is if Clomid doesn't work? Both my hub's SA and my blood test were normal, I'm on Clomid for irregular cycle lengths.

Thanks.

You may want to ask them about IUI.  It's a lot cheaper and less invasive than IVF, but not everyone's a good candidate for it.  I wasn't because of the morphology of my husband's sperm, but it's worth asking about if the clomid alone doesn't work.  Best of luck to you.

Im on the same boat as you. Im 30 also and feel like time is flying as Ive been ttc for 2 years now. Both my husband and I also have normal test results, but I have a normal cycle running b/w 28-30 days. Its frustrating not being able to get pregnant. They started me on clomid for 3 cycles and then moved me on to a combo of clomid and shots with IUI. I did that for 3 cycles and now Im on shots only with IUI. If this doesnt take then 2 more cycles of the shots with IUI and then if Im still not blessed, then move on to IVF...

Im now 4dpiui. Yesterday I was soooooooo irritable and tired. My bb are also feeling a little tender. But nothing out of the ordinary...

Wishing us all a successful BFP!

I posted at the top of the thread and sure enough I got a BFP yesterday. As I said before breast pain and minor cramps are pretty much my only symptoms.

Good luck ladies.

I also posted my BBT chart if u all want to take a look.

I am new to this site and find it very helpful.  I just completed the 2WW after a 2 day transfer of two top-quality embryos, but my blood test today was completely negative: <5.  At the beginning of the wait, I had sore breasts and a great deal of bloating, but I assume those symptoms resulted from the egg retrieval and hormone pills.  From what I have read on the site, it seems that at-home pregnancy tests are fairly accurate if done a few days before the blood test.  I did several, all negative, and while disappointing, they prepared me for today's result, which otherwise would have been hard to take, since I was at work when I got it.

I live in France, where they usually transfer embryos at 2 days.  That seems early to me, since the earliest I see on this site is 3 days.  In addition, they do not test me at all for my hormone levels after the transfer, and only give me progesterone vaginal suppositories and estrogen patches, used every 4 days.  I am concerned that this is not adequate support for the uterine environment.  It seems that many of you do progesterone shots, and I'm wondering what you do for estrogen, since it looks like my problem has to do with implantation.

Many thanks for your input.

I feel for you re BFN - this is our second IVF attempt and our first was BFN.  It took us two years to try again!  We are now on 2ww - officially test on Mon 8th. I have started testing because it does seem to relieve some of the anxious feelings - it feels like you are preparing yourself like you said.  All tests are negative but it is v v early. I think if by the weekend its still negative I will be more prepared to take the bad news.  I would be interested to hear if you had any symptons.  My boobs are in absolute agony (each day they have increased in soreness) and I have strange sensations in the lower half of my tummy.   Could be AF but still hanging on to a little bit of hope...

Yes, I had symptoms, up to about the 8th day--stomach twinges, sore and swollen breasts.  Then, overnight, they decreased greatly.  I awoke and thought "it's over," because my breasts had decreased in volume and pain.  I think it's a good sign that yours have increased each day.  Since your site name is "oldma," I'm guessing that you, like me, are 40 or near there?  If that is the case, then perhaps you too feel the crushing weight of negative statistics.
Does your doctor follow you during the 2WW?  Have you had blood tests since the transfer?  What kind of hormonal support are you doing?  Injections?  Or pills and patches?  How old were your embryos?  3day or 5day?  Hope you don't mind all the questions...

Do you know you are taking more interest than the clinic we used!!  No blood tests taken but they gave me a pregnancy test to take on the 8th.  I have to call the clinic with result.  I dont mind questions as most of my friends dont have a clue what I am talking about!  I am now 42 - I did first at 39/40 which we found traumatic - it took 3 months to down regulate the first time.  This second attempt is a short cycle (1month).  The statistics are absolutely terrible for my age but I just cant seem to give up yet.   We tfrd on day three 3 embryos, not top quality but 2nd grade (I think!) One embryo compacting (which I think is good) and the other two were 8 cells.  We had the progesterone shot two days before egg retrieval then nothing until after the egg transfer.  Now on cyclogest pessaries twice a day (not nice!) .

This is our last attempt - hubbie doesnt like age gap with our first child who will be 8 soon.  I would keep trying but there has to come a time when we say enough and my hubbie has reached it.  We have had so much heartache and deep grief over the last 7 years over babies miscarriages ectopics (the list is endless) so he is probably right!

Will you try again - it is so hard but you have to stay so very strong!
