Hello Ladies,

This is a continuation of our “2WW Buddies Will Get Lucky” thread series. In our last thread we had 3 BFPs (mature momma, maybebaby29,  IsabelleCanada) and we hope for many more in this one. The posts on this thread series have been so very supportive and encouraging...and I would like to thank you all for it.

If you wish to join the thread just post your details with your DPO/DPIUI/DPET/etc and I will be happy to add you in our waiting list below. I will try to update this thread daily in the evening EST.

i forgot to mention on the last thread with my update coment that the past two days ive been extremely fatigued. i mean bad. i feel like i just did a triathalon. i could seriously sleep all day. also the cramping from 1dpiui still have not gone away. please let this be my month. i dont want to feel like this for nothing....  BLAH!

My IUI and ovulation was on 4/25 so I guess that makes me 3 DPO/IUI?  Or is it 4 days?  This my first IUI cycle.  I was on 100mg of clomid and I did an hcg shot on 4/23.

Welcome, texasangel! Generally, you'll start counting dpo the day after ovulation/IUI, so yeah, you should be 3 dpo or dpiui today :-) Best of luck to you this cycle!

Well, I just gave myself my very first ovidrel shot about an hour ago, so I should be back in the 2WW again soon. I've been instructed to BD tomorrow, wednesday and thursday, then come back for a progesterone next Monday, which will be 7 days after the shot, but probably only 5 or 6 dpo...but that's what he said, so I've already set up the appointment.

Shadris/Sarah: SSBD to both of you! Hopefully you'll both be getting some good news towards the end of this cycle!

G_S: Thanks for starting the new thread and for keeping track of all this "crazyness" for us :-) I'm crossing my fingers that your follicles be nice and mature, with a thick lining, at your sonogram tomorrow!

Everyone: I go Thurs. for my follie check and we'll see when to do our IUI. I have a question though. If I am on Cycle Day 11 (right cause I started full flow on the 19?) If we BD tonight, tomorrow, and Thursday night, then I would imagine we would get our IUI done probably Sat and Sun, should that be sufficient??! I want to do everything possible! I will also be using pre-seed.... Any other suggestions would be great....

as lone as there is no male factor i dont see a problem with it. if he has low sperm count or something i wouldnt. i would also BD for a couple days after your iui thats what i did.. weather or not it worked though i will let you guys know as soon as i know. I say go for it. what can it hurt really think about it your already going through all of this you might as well try right?

Yeah, Thanks!! His count wasn't low, but not real high either. I think last IUI (2 total last cycle) there was a total of 55 million after washing and time before that I think it was around 70-75 million after washing (total of 2 times).... I think those numbers are great.  My DH had 87 million count and my RE said that was great!  Good luck =)

thats the same as my husband so im pretty sure you will be ok to BD befor and after the iui. I also herd that pre seed your talking about works really well if you have hostile CM which if your on clomid thats most likely. good luck to you keep us posted.

does pre seed have to be prescribed or can you get it at the store?  what exactly does it do?  i don't feel that my CM is very good at all, plus we've been on clomid for 6 months.  should i ask my RE about pre seed or just take it?  when do you take it?

Hi girls ~ ok I'm now CD25, 12/13DPIUI did HPT (NOT FMU ~second ~- in cup-5seconds) and came out BFN ~ but ~ prometrium was floating around in the cup ~ could it be mileading the HPT..??..~ I don't know what to think because BBS are still hurting, and getting pangs on both sides of ovary ~ not usual feelings before AF ~ nipples popping out (TMI~sorry) ~ a bit confused here ~ trying not to get depressed ~ did FMU yesterday and got a slight pink line aside of the red ~ the Dr's office said not to test until Thursday Morning (I didn't ask her why....perhaps the injectibles..??..) ~ and I was reading through all the threads online ~ Sarah said she gets better results outside of FMU ~ so that's what I tried today (waited another hour...toooooo long..) ~ but not a BFP ~

I should enter the 2WW this weekend but don't hold out much hope for success.  I think I saw NatesMomma the other day posted she was on cycle day 5, but I'm not sure.

hello ladies! Nice to have a new thread.  I think I am at 15DPO now? weird because that's what the OPK says but My period is not due till THURSDAY.  Did I count it wrong? Anyway I don't think I will test till the day I miss my period or the day my period is supposed to show up.  Hope she does not.  I am not feeling anything different today just occasional lower back pains and cramps.  I mean the past two months with clomid I get super cramps and nausea.  Maybe my body is getting used to the pill?

It's even harder to wait a few more days huh?

texasangel - you don't have to have a prescrip to use preseed... you can get it at some drugstores and online (I got mine from amazon.com)... I asked my obgyn about using it and she didn't even know what it was, so I just started using it... I only did that one month though - I should get some more... all it is, is a sperm friendly lubricant... and it mimics your natural CM, so if you are taking Clomid (which can dry up your natural CM), preseed is a great way to help that. Like I said, I used it once and it made all the difference in the world (even though I didn't get pg that month :) You just use it during O time when you bd

LOL... I know the feeling! I did see your post somewhere else... I think it could be from bd'ing two days in a row... I hope that's all it is! :) Are you planning to test around Thursday? Keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you!

I'm at 6DPO... just talked to the nurse and told them we are holding off on doing the IUI... she said to keep with the baby aspirin and Clomid while we try on our own for a few months... and if nothing, than we'll talk about doing the IUI then. DH and I just need a break from the doctor! lol!

yup a break seeing the doctor and just going with the flow is less stressful sometimes.  Who knows maybe this time that you are more rested you will get it!!!!!!!! crossing my fingers. I know it's hard but you should stop thinking for a while to get your body to relax.  Gee! as if I can do that.  Beleive me I did that earlier this month and i was happier but then 2WW came and around 10DPO I can't stop thinking again LOL

I will test on thursday to see.  I have tested over the weekends and did not see a line.  I know some ladies say they see a line as soon as they take a picture of the HPT but I did not know that before so I just threw it i the garbage and started to sulk...

I am glad to have someone to count down with.  There is some possibility that I am actually 9 DPO, and of course i would love that. But I really think that it is 6 DPO today, I hate this wait!!  Let me know how it is going for you  : )

Hi Everyone!

I have been out of town for a couple days.....glad to see everyone is doing well!  

I had a question about my chart.  I had a big temp increase this morning.  It was 97.6 Monday morning...I took it at 3:30 am instead of 6:30 am.  I had a flight to catch...and this morning I took it at 6:45 am and it was 98.63.  It was a large rise on my chart.  What is that caused by?  FF didn't identify it as anything in particular, but is it normal for that to happen?  I am currently 5dpo and I am on cd 20.  

Any insight would be great!
